Hardware: The tuners, tailpiece and pickguard and not original to the guitar

Notes: The guitar’s owner tells us: “I replaced the non-original tuners and made a pickguard. The bridge saddle might be original, but the base probably is not. Unfortunately, the neck was over-sprayed at some point.”

This L-5 is listed on www.mandolinarchive.com with a block inlaid fingerboard, however since 87083 comes from the same batch (it has the same FON) and has an original dot-inlaid fingerboard, it seems likely that the Mandolin Archive listing is incorrect
