Owner Frank Nijmegen comments: “Although the original finish and parts of L-5 serial number 95688 were lost long ago, a meticulous restoration by luthier Thomas Grabinger has made this guitar a great sounding and playing instrument. I made the white Pearloid pickguard myself, in order to match an instrument with close serial number.”

This is one of 146 Sunburst Advanced L-5s shipped in 1938 (assuming it left the factory with a Sunburst finish)
