We were sad to learn that guitar historian André Duchossoir passed away on November 17th 2020.
A tireless researcher into the history of various American guitar companies, André authored reference works on Fender, Gretsch, Martin and Gibson.
His book ‘Gibson Electrics’ is the definitive publication on the company’s golden era electric models. André was kind enough to share his knowledge with us and you will find various sections on this site that are credited to him.
